« Beaucoup de cinéastes expérimentaux ont cherché à représenter l’amour comme celui-ci peut se vivre à l’apogée du bonheur, dans la passion, la tendresse, la profondeur, dans le don de soi et la fusion avec l’autre. Après ses ancêtres Shirley Clarke (A Moment In Love, 1956) ou Carolee Schneemann (Fuses, 1967), avec une totale franchise et une parfaite modestie (« ce film est une représentation possible de l’amour », annonce le premier carton), Anaïs Ibert se confronte à ce défi figuratif qui met complètement hors-sujet la pornographie et travaille à créer une érographie fidèle à l’expérience des sentiments. »
“Many experimental filmmakers have sought to represent love as it is experienced at the peak of joy, passionately, tenderly, deeply, in the giving of oneself and the merging with the other. After her forerunners Shirley Clarke (A Moment In Love, 1956) and Carolee Schneemann (Fuses, 1967), Anaïs Ibert tackles this figurative challenge, which has nothing to do with pornography, with complete candor and modesty (“this movie is a possible representation of love,” declares the title card), and seeks to create an erography reflecting the feelings experienced.”
